Classes AA and A are set to be announced next week. In Class B, senior quarterback Alex Oliver was selected to the 4th team offense, while his teammate, senior linebacker Matt Ciotti received honorable mention. Tom Schoen Steps Down as Warriors Football Coach
by Jeff PextonWhitesboro – Tom Schoen, the winningest coach in Section III high school football history, has officially retired as Head Coach of Whitesboro Varsity Football, after 45 seasons. Coach Schoen ranks 8th all time in New York State with a record of 283-131-4 and the Warriors have amassed 11 Section 3 Championships and 16 division titles under his direction. by Josh McMullenUTICA, NY — It was a much-needed game for both the Utica Academy of Science Atoms and the Holland Patent Golden Knights. Both needed this win to keep pace with the Hawkeyes, who own a win over both of them. When the final buzzer sounded, though, the Atoms proved they wanted it just a little bit more.
