Tom Schoen Steps Down as Warriors Football Coach

Whitesboro – Tom Schoen, the winningest coach in Section III high school football history, has officially retired as Head Coach of Whitesboro Varsity Football, after 45 seasons.

Coach Schoen ranks 8th all time in New York State with a record of 283-131-4 and the Warriors have amassed 11 Section 3 Championships and 16 division titles under his direction. Schoen guided Whitesboro to multiple NYSPHSAA Regional Titles, including a Final 4 appearance as recently asĀ  2017.

Joe Nassif, a longtime assistant coach in the Warriors program is also retiring.

A new head coach has not yet been named by Whitesboro.
