Oliver had a nice night on defense as well, as he intercepted a Lucas Albro pass during the opening moments of the 4th quarter to keep Oneida at bay. H0wever, on the return Oliver suffered a late hit out of bounds and appeared to sustain an upper body injury, from which he did not return.

Alex Kipp intercepted another Albro pass late in the 4th quarter and returned it for a touchdown, further icing the win for V-V-S.
