Utica –  The Utica Lady Knicks 17-u AAU Basketball Team recently returned from a strong showing at the US Junior National / Nike Championship Tournament in Washington D.C.

The Lady Knicks program, which fielded 6 teams in 2018 from the 6th grade level through and including the 11th grade level, is a decades old youth program dedicated to the advancement of competitive girl’s basketball in the Central New York area. Lady Knicks players often receive strong recruiting attention from college coaches from NCAA Division I, II and III institutions.

The teams play the majority of their games in AAU style tournaments during the Spring and Summer months, in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.
