ONONDAGA – Leading by just six through three quarters of Sunday’s Class A semifinal against Indian River, Whitesboro’s Warriors found themselves mired in an ultra-physical defensive struggle, and were in dire need of some offense to gain needed separation. They received it as a barrage of early hoops in the fourth from the Belmont twins to pull away for a 46-31 victory at OCC’s Allyn Hall Gymnasium to advance to their fifth straight Class A final.
